Preheat oven to 300°. Heat the butter in a pan on the stove over medium heat. Add in the water, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and sea salt and stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and fold in the nuts, stirring until the sugar mixture is evenly distributed. Pour the nuts onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. They will not be crunchy until they are completely cooled. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
