1 apple, peeled and chopped finely (peel can be left on if organic)
1 pear, peeled and chopped finely (peel can be left on if organic)
2 dashes of cinnamon
1 dash of nutmeg
1 splash of water
Optional sprinkles
Pumpkin seeds
Pecans
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium sized bowl whisk together the almond milk and pumpkin. Stir in all the other ingredients and portion out into bowls or mason jars (for easy portability), then store in the fridge overnight.
For the fruit topping, place all the ingredients in a small pot and cook on the stove over medium high heat for 7-8 minutes, until the fruit is completely softened. Mash the fruit with the back of a fork or a hand held blender and spoon onto the oats.
Sprinkle with a few pinches of any additional nuts and seeds.
