Serves: 4-6
INGREDIENTS:
  • Marinade
  • 1 lb steaks (I used 4 small ones but the individual number does not really matter)
  • ¼ cup tamari
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed
  • Stir fry
  • 8 oz soba noodles (1 standard box)
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 2 bell peppers, julienned
  • 2 cups broccoli, finely sliced
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cold-pressed olive oil
  • Glaze
  • ¼ cup tamari
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1½ tablespoon cold-pressed sesame oil
  • ½ tablespoon cold-pressed olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Marinate the steak for 4-12 hours and then discard the garlic, tamari and vinegar.
  2. Heat up the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and then sear the steaks for around 3-5 minutes on each side. Generally 4 minutes per side will produce a medium rare steak. Set aside for 10 minutes then slice against the grain.
  3. Bring a large pot with water to boil over high heat and cook noodles according to package directions and then drain the water out.
  4. Blend the glaze ingredients then add it to the large skillet and add in the vegetables and cook over medium low heat for 3-4 minutes until they are softened. Stir in the noodles and steak then sprinkle on the sesame seeds and green onion.
