Optional: ¼ teaspoon cumin (adds a slight smoky taste)
Optional topping: sprinkle of sumac, paprika or dried chili flakes
DIRECTIONS:
Pour the water into a medium sized pot and bring to a boil on the stove over high heat. Slowly whisk in the chickpea flour, stirring constantly and bring the heat down to medium. Continue stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, scoop into a blender and blend with the tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and cumin if you are using it.
