Cut the apple in half and take out the core, then some extra apple to make room for the fillings. Next, slice open the dates to remove the pit and then smush them into the bottom of the apple and spread them around as best as you can. Next goes the almond butter, half a spoonful in each apple half, then sprinkle with cinnamon and press on the buckwheat grouts.
