Spiced Apple Chips with Almond Yogurt Dip

Serves: 4 cups
INGREDIENTS:
  • Apple Chips
  • 6 apples, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • Almond Yogurt Dip
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey to sweeten
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 225°. Arrange the apple slices side by side on 3 baking sheets. Sprinkle the pumpkin pie spice over them (2 teaspoons per tray) and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, flip the apples over and bake for another 30-40 minutes, until golden brown and the edges start to curl up. They will continue to crisp up as they cool then any extras can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
  2. While the apples are baking mix together all the dip ingredients in a medium bowl, cover and keep refrigerated until serving.
