Buckwheat Waffles

INGREDIENTS:
  • Dry Ingredients
  • 1½ cup light buckwheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 1½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl, stir to combine. Combine the wet ingredients in a small bowl, whisk to combine.
  2. Create a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Whisk thoroughly until smooth. Pour into the waffle maker ¼ of a time and cook according to manufacturer's directions.
